With a composition of 75% extra fine merino wool and 25% nylon, Metropolis is wonderfully soft yet strong. That makes this yarn ideally suited as a sock yarn, but the possibilities are endless. The yarn is warm, has the breathable quality of wool, but is durable and easy to maintain thanks to the nylon. Metropolis is ideal for knitting or crocheting light clothing, fashion accessories, cuddly toys and home accessories. This yarn is also very suitable for Fair Isle and jacquard patterns for knitting and crochet (tapestry crochet).

A ball of Scheepjes Metropolis weighs 50 grams and has a running length of 200 meters (fingering yarn thickness). The recommended needle size is 2.50-3.00mm.
